Use when a HYROX athlete or coach provides a race date, division, experience, goal time, weekly availability, and equipment and asks to build a periodized training plan from scratch. Returns a phased plan (general prep, capacity, race-specific, simulations, peak, taper, recovery) with weekly goals, session structure, paces, and progression criteria sized to the time available. It does not revise a plan already underway (route to hyrox-adaptive-training-plan-manager), does not produce final-week taper detail (route to hyrox-race-week-and-taper-planner), and does not assess limiters or predict a finish time rather than program for one.

# Training Plan Builder
Build a periodized HYROX plan from an athlete's start point to a specific race
date. The race is the fixed 8 × ~1 km runs interleaved with 8 stations through the
roxzone (see [race-structure](../../references/race-structure.md)), so the plan is
not "running with some lifting" - it develops the aerobic engine expressed under
fatigue, repeatable sub-threshold station power, grip endurance, and compromised
running, sequenced so concurrent training does not blunt either side (see
[coaching-principles](../../references/coaching-principles.md) and
[running-development](../../references/running-development.md)). Every plan fits the
athlete's real availability, protects easy/aerobic volume, avoids unjustified
workload spikes, and states its assumptions. When the goal and the timeline are in
tension, say so rather than promising what the weeks cannot deliver.
