Terms of Service

Using Skill Me — browsing the catalog, connecting the MCP server to Claude, creating an account, or submitting a skill — means you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the service.

Skill Me is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. Skills are instructions written by people in the community; we review them before publishing, but we can’t guarantee they are error-free, fit for your purpose, or that the outputs Claude produces with them will be correct. Use your own judgment, especially for legal, medical, financial, or otherwise consequential work. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skill Me is not liable for damages arising from your use of the service or of any skill.

An account is optional. If you create one (email magic link or GitHub), you’re responsible for activity under it. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using the service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

You keep ownership of skills, reviews, and other content you submit. By submitting, you grant Skill Me a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of the catalog — that’s what makes it installable by other users. You confirm you have the right to share what you submit and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.

We may decline, edit metadata for, or remove any submission at our discretion — particularly if it fails safety review or receives a credible takedown request. If you believe content in the catalog infringes your rights, contact us and we’ll review it promptly.

Don’t use Skill Me to distribute skills containing prompt injection, hidden instructions, data-exfiltration attempts, malware, or deceptive descriptions. Don’t abuse the service — no scraping at disruptive volume, no attempts to break authentication or access other users’ data, no spam reviews or manipulated ratings. We may remove content or restrict access for violations.

Skill Me is an independent, community-built project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic. “Claude” is a trademark of Anthropic. Your use of Claude itself is governed by Anthropic’s own terms.

If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes we’ll make a reasonable effort to give notice on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
