ChatGPT and Google Antigravity join the client list
- Connected Skill Me to ChatGPT (via custom connector apps) and Google Antigravity: one MCP endpoint now serves six clients.
- Retired the Gemini CLI guide following Google’s June 18 shutdown of Gemini CLI for individual accounts; Antigravity is its successor.
- Animated step-by-step connect walkthroughs with real screenshots for the new clients on /connect.
- New public surfaces: /trending with weekly Skill Drop archives, /teams, /demo, /changelog, use-case and comparison pages, and shareable "My AI stack" pages at skillme.dev/@handle.

Five clients, referrals, and a launch-grade trust layer
- Connected Skill Me to OpenAI Codex and Gemini CLI, joining claude.ai, Claude Code, and Cursor: one MCP endpoint, five clients, one library.
- Rebuilt every in-house skill to a paid-quality bar and added six vertical packs; the catalog passed 2,450 skills across 143 packs.
- Shipped the referral system: share surfaces on accounts, libraries, and shared collections, with hardened attribution.
- Added the Live Data pack: nine skills backed by keyless, liveness-verified free APIs.
- Added a plain-English Terms of Service and made the open catalog fully MIT on GitHub under the SkillMedev org.
- Official-skill tie-break boost in the recommender, plus a full trigger-phrase audit.

Search that finds things and share cards worth sharing
- Full-text keyword search over names, tags, and descriptions with relevance ranking, plus a semantic fallback for sparse results.
- Redesigned every share card (home, skills, packs) to consumer quality with bundled brand fonts.
- Trusted-source catalog expansion: 308 skills and 22 official partner packs in one release.
- MCP hardening: bounded install payloads, SSE liveness stream, immediate skill activation.
- Per-user telemetry directory with city-level geo across web, MCP, and signup.
Week of June 15, 2026
First commit to working product
- Initial build: the MCP server, the web catalog, browse and skill pages, and conversational install.
- The safety-review pipeline: every skill screened for prompt injection and hidden instructions before listing.
- Skill packs, official partner packs, and the pack detail experience.
- Accounts with optional sign-in: a private, account-free library works too.
- Mobile experience: bottom tab bar, swipeable shelves, safe-area handling.
New skills and features ship most days. Connect once and they arrive in your library automatically.
