# Channel Strategy
Most startups die from lack of distribution, not lack of product. Channel
strategy is the discipline of finding the one channel that works before
diluting effort across ten that do not.
## The Core Principle
At any given stage, one channel drives the majority of growth. The job is to
find it, saturate it, and only then add the next. Spreading thin across many
channels is the most common cause of stalled growth.
## Channel Inventory
- **Paid acquisition** (search, social, programmatic): fast feedback, scales
with cash, margins compress as you scale spend.
- **Content / SEO**: slow to start, compounding, defensible. Best when buyers
search for solutions.
- **Sales-led** (inbound or outbound): essential for high ACV; expensive per
