# Holoscan Debian/apt Installation
## Purpose
Install the Holoscan SDK C++ runtime + headers on Ubuntu using NVIDIA's apt repo, selecting the right `holoscan-cuda-*` package for the host's CUDA driver and verifying with the bundled C++ examples.
## Prerequisites
