monday.com's **official** MCP servers. The **Platform MCP** gives Claude secure access to boards and items (create/update items, read columns, manage workflows); a separate **Apps MCP** helps build and deploy monday apps.

## Connect (hosted Platform MCP, OAuth)

The hosted Platform MCP requires no local setup — add the server and authenticate via OAuth when prompted. See monday's developer docs (developer.monday.com → MCP servers) and monday.com/w/mcp.

## Connect (local, self-managed)

The official package `@mondaydotcomorg/monday-api-mcp` provides a plug-and-play server that authenticates with your existing monday API token.

## Notes

- Access is scoped to the authenticated user's monday account and board permissions.
