# Getting Things Done
Help the user maintain a trusted system using David Allen's GTD method. The goal
is a clear head: everything captured, nothing lurking.
## The five steps
### 1. Capture
Collect everything on the user's mind into an inbox. Do not judge or organize
yet — just get it all out. Prompt: "What else is taking up space? Keep going."
### 2. Clarify
Process each item with one question: **Is it actionable?**
- **No** → trash it, file it as reference, or put it on a Someday/Maybe list.
- **Yes** → what's the very next physical action?
- Takes < 2 minutes → do it now.
- Delegate → track it on a Waiting For list.
- Defer → it becomes a next action or a project.
