Analyze a backlink profile — referring domains, anchor-text mix, toxic-link share, profile health, and competitor link gaps — then recommend concrete link-building or disavow actions.

name: backlink-analyzer
description: Use when the user asks to analyze backlinks or a link profile — profiles external referring domains, anchor-text distribution, toxic links, and competitor link gaps. Not for internal links. Uses WebFetch and optional SEO-tool exports.
---
Profile a domain's backlinks for quality, risk, and competitive gaps, with every metric source-tagged.
## Workflow
1. If no backlink data is provided and no link database is connected, stop and ask for a referring-domain export or a tool connection — never estimate link volume from the domain alone.
2. Generate a profile overview: key metrics, link velocity, authority distribution, and a profile health score.
3. Analyze link quality — top backlinks, link-type mix, anchor-text distribution, and geography.
4. Identify toxic links, compute the toxic ratio as a labeled figure, and produce disavow recommendations.
5. Find competitor link gaps (top 3 by overlap) and name at least 3 link-building or disavow actions.
6. Tag each metric as tool-export, user-provided, or estimated, and emit a handoff summary for `memory/monitoring/`.
